Sheffield Wednesday possible -15 points next season

Agree but I’m guessing it’s in the rules. Seems to be linked with paying the former owner money by a certain date. It sucks and they’ve been punished enough but if it’s in the rules then I guess there’s nowt the league can do. Seems that former owner isn’t done f***ing then over.
Surely the rules can be adjusted when it was him alone who caused all of this? Now, he’s benefiting and they’re being punished, again.

I think Chansiri loaned them £60 million, this was not transferred to shares meaning he is owed 25p in every £1 as he is a creditor. Looks like all prospective owners are refusing to pay that out of principle, feel for the club and fans though.

I have no allegiances in this discussion, but I always find it funny that fans make suggestions that this, that or the other shouldn’t happen for whatever sentimental reason they can think up, surely the club is/was fully aware of the EFL regulations in these situations, break the rules and you pay the price as in most aspects of life.

The “club”didn’t do it, Chansiri did

Yeah I know that, it’s the rules regarding fit and proper owners that need addressing, the club were happy to take him onboard, surely certain safeguards should have been in place, in this respect I would suggest that the *club* have been negligent.

Ridiculous, how does this help the club and fans get the club going again after the Chansiri fiasco , honest decent fans turning out to watch a relegated team on minus 7 points being battered by men in suits again. Isnt it time that Man City were decided upon one way or another.

I think.... don't quote me....but I believe the club needs to be bought for more than 30 million so it can pay it's creditors, including about 15 million for Chansiri.....this would then avoid a points deduction next season.

If a bid of less is accepted and creditors are not paid.... including Chansiri, then we shall get a points deduction next season...

So..

A.. Chansiri gets a wedge but we start -15.
B, Chansiri gets fuck all and we get no deductions.

I reckon it's a 50/50 split what the fans want.
