So that's Birmingham, Bolton and Burton all losing so all's not lost. We just need to finish 21st, I'd absolutely take finishing on 35/36 points and limping to survival as long as there's 3 worse sides.

My bet on us to win the league is looking unlikely to come in now, I'll admit.

It's still mathematically possible mind, few signings in January... ;-)

Still makes you think why Short didn't address this in the Prem by bringing in quality to at least compete in the Prem. Really don't know what he was thinking just letting things slide and bringing in loans and freebies. The same thing is going to happen this year by going into league 1, the question is where does it stop?

He hasn't got the cash. Forget the £1bn net worth - he could only raise the money be selling investments.

For a net £1m. That’s about 90k per player.

Like I said, it’s embarrassing that some people still don’t understand what they’re watching. The same idiots will be shouting for Coleman’s head soon enough, and round and round we go.
I understand what I was watching and it was utterly pathetic and hopeless. It's a tad better under Coleman, we've at least looked organised at times. That was rarely the case under Grayson.

I have not posted this prior but I was talking to a bloke who I know who was talking to a head of an arm funded and 'owned' by SAFC and he reckoned the Germans and Short have been in talks for months under the radar (and that's why nick Barnes got bollocked) and a deal could be completed January and that's why Coleman agreed to come.

I was sceptical but by god am I now dreaming even more.
Yea.

He probably couldn't trust the managers to bring anything else in but shite.

I feel for CC, got his work cut out massively with these fuckers.
Hope he's given some resources next week but even then, who's gonna come to us ??
That's the thing, the useless twats we can attract on a predictably low budget, are they going to be any better than the useless twats we have already with the real possibility of dropping again.
If I was a player I wouldn't want to risk it especially with possible wage reduction if we do drop:confused:
