Many years ago I used to work with some Wednesday season ticket holders who travelled from the north east to all home games. They were decent blokes and it is a massive shame what has happened to the club and its many loyal supporters.
 
Nobody seems to know what the fooks happening....I take on all points made about a "Famous old club" and we haven't averaged over 30k since whenever, but remember, we dropped out of the Prem a quarter of a century ago...when some teams that are now getting 30k were getting less than half that before hitting the Prem...We missed the boat and here we are on a f.ookin' Lilo in a sea of shite.
Its news cos Wednesday are in the crap, and you get Owls fans espousing we are a "Famous old club"..means Jackshit...There were rules and we not only broke them, but virtually thought..."Nah not "This famous old club"...Thats abject bollox...cos Chansiri was guilty as fook...
theres 24k tipping up,some walking out at half time, but fair play, they tipped up fully KNOWING their team was gonna lose, their team was already relegated before the season bloody started
Its looking like league 2 for us....I'll take that..cos its way beyond football for me....Folk stand upand cheer on the Kop when we complete a bloody 1/2....some f.ooker does an overhead kick and a chant starts....its beyond a bloody circus..straw grasping....but its Sheffield Wednesday....So I will still be putting me bobble hat on, walking down The Leppings Lane an howling the capering fookwits on...No sodding choice...

I'm 68 my friend....Its not so much "Keeping the Faith" as knowing nowt else......I still enjoy the whole bloody thing...I don;t go to watch football.. its The pub, the grandkids, the history, I'm not saying the result isn't the main thing..It is...but its the whole...putting yer scarf on , wandering down to a stadium thats gone from state of the art to some sort of antique hallof horrors...All I need is a plastic seat and a bit of hope.....I'm halfway there wiv me plastic seat....

Nah..yer not past caring mate....or you wouldn't even post about it...You need to get into my mindset.....treat the who;le bloody circus as entertainment, mixed with history, life , nonchalance and theatre....You watch comedy's don't you?...bit of pathos, with humour....thats what we are.

You would also be made welcome down at Swindon. If it gets that shit for both of us we can play dare on the magic roundabout.
