Shearers predictions

agreed... and that's not a reflection on sunderland, or the other two clubs that went up. thats just the state of the game in this country and the gulf between 1st in the championship & 17th in the premier league.

if all three clubs go back down again for the 3rd year running, someone really needs to take a look at the state of the game (without getting into any cartel shit!).
Agree.

It's also possible that if the 3 of us do go down, we could be replaced by the three who we replaced this season.

I'd be very surprised if the top 2 isn't Ipswich and Southampton, Leicester should be ahead of the rest comfortably too unless they get hit with a big points deduction or have to sell some of their better players with everything going on.

Seems a fairly reasonable set of predictions really. Not worth getting upset about
Yeah, perhaps….just very predictable and boring (well they are his predictions and he is said to be boring).
No real thought gone into it.
He’s unsurprisingly got the skunks in a European place, us to go down and expects Man Utd to still totally tread water at best.

Bland and uninspired.

He has Newcastle in fifth so same as 24/25 which feels unlikely to me. European football plus a worse squad assuming Isak goes or is unhappy would make me think they’ll do worse than last year.
