Shameful behaviour from *some* of our fans today

My mate's partner was there with her 9 yr old son and got caught up in the middle of shite being thrown at them. They had to be rescued by staff at the stadium who let them escape into the main entrance. The kid had had a fantastic day until that point. The lad was scared shitless.
Would you like a sworn statement from him, or is my word enough for you?
Apparently it didn’t happen if you don’t have multi angle footage and a sworn affidavit from an unspecified percentage of spectators

Get a grip pal i asked a perfectly reasonable question as to if there was any proof

lets not go overboard here with sworn statement shite

We don’t support every club so we’re not talking about their fans

It’s almost like you’re trying to excuse it
I said it was embarrassing behaviour, how is that trying to excuse it & every club has an element of idiots . We travel in large numbers so it’s inevitable

Unfortunately Sunderland still Has more than it’s fair share of charvas. Always been an embarrassment to the region and there seems to be a new breed of them going to our games.
It’s never been any different. We’ve always had a charva element that go on like absolute weapons

Just been talking to a mate who was there today. Says a number of our fans let themselves down

One group of lads got pissed up and weren’t allowed in the ground

Another were singing racist songs to an Asian family on the way from a pub.

And a large group of lads were hoying coins at at Rotherham fans for a lot of the game

We’re very quick to criticise when the likes of Coventry come up and misbehave so it’s annoying when we let ourselves down
There’s nothing wrong with going away and getting psssd up mind, but the rest of the things you have mentioned has no place at a football game as the culprits should be banned for life if caught

It was a full on load of chanting, I don’t like to hear that mind. Especially when the majority singing it probably have no idea whatsoever the reason behind it.

As well as the recent history SAFC have had in that area with Johnson scandal

Honestly wish we'd start taking smaller allocations to games

It’s not surprising when you look at the enablers on this thread

There’s one poster on here in particular who you can absolutely bet is privately laughing at this racism
This is really worrying I hope the club are actively monitoring this thread and next home game they are shit hot on watching the south stand

Always been an embarrassment but the modern day charva teenagers who’ve started going to the games make the old berghaus brigade look tame.

Was gonna post that as a "group" of away "supporters" we were shite -
1) Late comers making a racket through the bugle & minutes silence
2) Whining at every misplaced pass
3) Arriving well after kick off, Christ it says 3pm kick off on the ticket, surely you should be around the turnstiles by 2.40
4) Leaving early, part of any sport is getting an occasional twatting, stay and support!
5) We do not want coin throwers there, no excuse, we'll get reduced allocations & innocent SAFC supporters will get caught in the crossfire

Sort it out and stop it!!
Wasn't there today but remember going to Leicester under Keane and we were so loud before kick off didn't hear the announcement for the silence and got booed by the home fans until we realised what was going on.
