Good to see Broad back in the wickets. Slightly surprised they've enforced the follow on as Boycott and Vaughan have both said on TMS that Finn and Monty are bowling well below par so it's putting a lot on Broad's and Jimmy's shoulders.

I guess they're concerned they've probably only got one more full days play as the forecast for the 5th day is very poor.

Great day for England. May be a disruption for the weather which is probably why we enforced the follow on but hopefully there'll be plenty of time left to finish this off.

They were all agreeing on Sky that if the weather had been set fair for the rest of the game there's no way we'd have put then back in.

We talked about this last year. Durham should have accommodated this at The riverside. Would have been class during the sunny days (of which there are few!).
.

Yup, wouldn't cost much to sort and maintain, personally think it would prove very popular but I guess the lure of wanting international cricket at the ground puts the grass bank idea to bed straight away

First rain here for over a month, today is a write off, tomorrow looks likely too. Rain passes over us and heads north usually. still torrential, more of the sort tomorrow.

not a fan personally. sounds a nice idea but in practice (especially here) you're either getting pissed on or more likely burnt to a crisp. prefer to sit under cover on a proper seat, especially for a test match.
