He doesn’t, he’s 7, so likely has relatively little autonomy or financial clout. 
But I assume you have to, because you’re making him sit in an area that charges that? It’s £55 where we sit, if I remember correctly.
Usually where there is little to no concession it’s because it’s either intentionally not the right value proposition for kids, or it’s expected that, were it not for a child being in that seat, it’s virtually guaranteed that an adult would’ve taken that place.
But I don’t know any of this, I’m just generalising.
