That seems like a sensible solution to be fair, no sense in the club releasing resale tickets until the stadium is sold out and taking it off next year's season ticket gives another incentive to renew.

I’ve had one for years now and not been able to get a ticket for any of the away games I’ve wanted to go to. You’ve got no chance of getting tickets to the big away games unless you’ve got a lot of points next season.

Loads went to 0 points/general sale in last few seasons. But the ones people want to go to are obviously taken by high points.

I’ve thought of buying a ticket to ones I’m not that interested in to build my points but it’s a waste of money and may stop someone that wants to go. It’s the way it should be though fans that go up and down the country should get priority.

So we have a block of seats reserved for match by match purchase as per PL rules and around 500 single seats available for season card purchase?
This might sound a daft question but why can't the club release seats from their match day only quota for season card groups and re-allocate the single seats they have left for the match by match purchase?

Fans have had plenty of time to buy and get sorted, and club have said so aswell as their very limited

Agree aye. I've dropped from 50 odd to like 20 since having a kid a couple of year ago. It is what it is really and I think we all struggle more to go as we get older.

Doesn't really answer my question. I've got my season cards so doesn't bother me but we're better off letting people get seats together if we can.

Two sides to that argument though as then you'd struggle to sell matchday tickets when they're all singles.
They'll also be £40+ a seat so club would lose out.

But if you cant get a ticket,then what?
This is a good shout, and also ensures a few seats in the lower tier available match to match which is a good thing eg if you want to try and get tickets near others for a single match.
How do you get away tickets without having points?

There would be scenarios like a bloke just changing his job and only just finding out he can get to the match regularly. He might have 2 young kids that he wants to take but single seats would be no good. Surely the club should have the option?
