Season Ticket Tracker 2023-24

We won't sell many more imo.

Plus for midweek night games we have a higher proportion of st holders that don't turn up for midweek games compared other clubs. At least 8000 to 10k of our season ticket holders don't attend midweek games.

How do you know this compared to other clubs?

Can look at the attendances. Most clubs have lower attendances on a midweek and as we have a larger following than others and more spare seats, the demand for the spares is less.
Attendance stats are mostly nonsense though in terms of who was actually there. And I'm not sure what you mean, we have a larger following so the demand for spares is less?

Which is irrelevant. Attendances disclosed are tickets sold, not bums on seats. I'll count as being there whether or nor I can make a given match. If the gates are lower, it's fewer away sales and individual match buys.

So what you’re saying if say we’re averaging 43,000 next season for a midweek match we’ll lose at least 10,000 fans?

There is no way on earth we will average 43k for midweek games.
We will be very lucky to be doing that for Saturday 3pm games.
Bottom line is we lose a lot of fans for midweek home games, we had 30-33k season ticket holders last season, the higher number more so after xmas
WBA game was 34,000 attendance I would hazard a very good guess there wasn’t more than 25k in the stadium.
Fwiw attendances are top class and in now way am I dissing the support, just bringing some people down to earth softly.

To be fair, the ones who decided to stay away from that game were the sensible ones. I almost had to break myself away from my seat after the game it was that cold - took hours to thaw out afterwards.

You're definitely right about that WBA game like, but it was literally about -9°C and live on Sky. I think most midweek games are a bit short of the announced number but not 10k worth.

Tremendous response.

Will read again

Or maybe I’m just right and you haven’t got a retort

The 10k was in response to the lad saying we would be getting 45k for a leeds game.
Maybe I was a bit tight but it won’t be over 40k attendees.

I found it a bit cold but not unmanageable. There again I was well wrapped up and had more coverings than an onion, plus two pair of thermal socks and a good pair of boots.
