I'm kind of in that boat...been in the family zone for several years and now my three are teenagers, likewise my mate and his kid who sit with us. People get older and get used to sitting where they are, I understand that, but if you don't do something to stop people staying there when their kids grow up you'll always have this problem creeping up year-on-year. Maybe the easiest solution would be to price people out of that area if they don't have children in their group, and maybe incentivise them to move somewhere else with a discount for the following season when the time comes, to soften any financial blow.

I would understand if the club asked me to move out of the family zone in due course, and in fact I'd probably want to eventually.

I just don't think the PC is the right place for youngsters, personally...they need to be closer to the players and the action. They need to feel the excitement, which can be a bit remote from the PC.

My eldest son and grandson bought season tickets for the Kop ,think he paid over £750 for 1 adult and 1 12 yr old.could understand paying that if they were decent seats but they are sat bottom left in the corner open to the elements.

either end of the Kop is crap mate....Usually that bottom end is so you can get out quicker...which is understandable, but its bloody freezing on a tuesday in Feb

So adults without kids are knowingly sitting in the family zone... and the club lets them.?

This is why the SOL is class as SAFC allow young adults/kids/OAPs to get cheap seats in most of the ground. Some clubs limit the amount of seats available as discounted tickets or just offer just 1 stand or have different age brackets. Their U21s are looking at £320 for the Kop, £395 for the North stand and £395-£445 for the South stand. The next group of the U17s are looking at £220 unless the go to the top of the South stand. The next group of U11s is £140 apart from the back of the South stand.

I don't know what our prices are now but the early bird renewal for U22s was £165 for most of the ground which is a lot cheaper than Sheff Wed's U21s and allows fans to be a year older before paying full price. It was only £25 more than their U11s price. For the U18s at the SOL it was just £96 with U16s at just £48 and both are cheaper than their U11s.

If we had the same pricing structure as Sheff Wed then it would certainly hit our attendance numbers and one big reason why comparing attendances isn't as straight forward as it may seem.

I think the strategy is clear though. The adult prices are probably average for the division and starting to go up. Matchday prices similar. In fact maybe slightly above average. But the three tier structure for the young supporters is all about a pipeline to get the adult fans of the future. The club has got it right I think. Maybe they could have kept the red seats all one price which I think they were until recently. Were always full. But nit picking I suppose.

worked out OK for me, got the early bird and am over 65, so £225,but I buy the grandkids as well which comes to another £100 or so, as you can see they have all risen as well,
Its ridiculous and remember it would have been the same if we had stayed down, loads can't afford it and the crowds will drop accordingly.
Its in a City where you can watch the Premiership for far less so any "Floating" supporter, will go to the lane , students etc...
If you have a family with split loyalties you know where the kids will go.
It will surely raise expectations of doing something similar to what your lads did this season and we are seriously not good enough to do that, thats a simple fact, but at those prices, ???, thats surely what any fan would expect
Its really p*ssed everyone off at the end of what turned out a really good season.
More pressure on Darren Moore, he will take the brunt of it should it go wrong, and he won't deserve it, the bloke in the directors box should be rightly blamed for his crass misunderstanding of what a football club is in a working class city

That's impressive, why don't we make more available? I can understand keeping 3k for visitors & some for segregation, but must be another 5k that could be sold

Yeah NW corner could be used

They will do the cashback scheme for games this season coming which could add 2k to attendance
