Season card - No Auto Renew

Does that mean it will go up in price for you again next year or will that not affect you? I'm not sure what the official retirement age is next year, but means I will have to wait until 67.
That's a good point as it's transitioning to 67 from April this year. Come next year in February for the 2027/28 renewals the club is saying that Over 65 age band will become Over 67.

Therefore anyone who has turned 65 since August 1st 2025 and missed out on Over 65s this season will be 66 come next renewal time and miss out again.

New customers is fine but for any 66 year old fan renewing, you'd like to think the club would just allow the few fans it will effect to renew at the Over 67 price rather than force them to pay adult for one season.

I'm an October baby so ill be 66 in October and my state pension kicks in at 66 and 6 months so i think i will be ok.. but im not 100% sure!..it will be daft that this year i qualified but next march i will actually recieve my state pension but wont qualify!
Yeah think you will be fine for both 26/27 Season and 27/28 Season, 👍

I don't think he will seeing what Roger hoyed up unless the club are aware it will affect a small amount of fans and they'll sort it out for them.

He'll still be 66 come August 1st 2027 which is the cutoff point and next season the club are saying it's going to be 67 for renewals in 2027/28.

Basically anyone who turned 65 from August 1st 2025 to July 2026 will be in this limbo year as it goes by age at August 1st and not when someone turns pension age.

i've got a feeling they're going to be asking those of us who renewed on monday night for a few quid more. when i log onto my account on my 'phone and go onto season tickets it flashes up for a nanosecond 'true' for previous years and 'false' for next season's.
edit, doesn't do it on the pc or laptop, might be because my 'phone is ancient and slow.
I'm in that scenario, seems I've renewed at the blue price when I'm in red. So waiting for them to email about it. It's frustrating and I'll have a go at them about is as I'm now going to be £135 out of pocket across 2 season cards through no fault of my own. I just hope they actually contact me and don't just cancel our cards without notification and then sell to someone else. With the way they (mis)handled this whole process anything is possible.

Yeah, but he’s in the transition period of 66 to 67 for State Pension, and will have started receiving his State Pension at 66 1/2, surely the Club will be going by the State Pension receiving date,……… won’t they?

No as it's not when someone turns pension age, it's simply the age someone is come August 1st

i think they'll contact us, i think they'll have to really. i'd have thought it'll all be covered by some law or other regarding buying stuff online and they're trying to get round it.
section 2.4 covers this.

Wow, this could affect quite a lot of people!
So they will get one Season as an O65 Concession, then one Season as an Adult, then future Seasons as an O67 Concession!
Very strange!……… however it is our Ticket Office. 😩

I think it will affect a small number of fans as you're only looking at those aged 66 and they'll only be a small percentage of the renewals.

It may not even become a problem as the club should know this and it's easily solved by offering the concession price to them.

Cheers. That gives me a small bit of confidence, I've got 2 tickets on 2 different emails so hopefully one comes through. I'm conscious that another poster had huge issues last season or the season before where they'd renewed as per normal, a number of season cards all next to each other, then the come the start of the season one didn't arrive/get sent, when they contacted the club the club claimed it was the fans fault and they lost that seat. That was one individual though, as there seems to be a few of us from U4/5/6 I'm sure we'll see updates on here once the emails start coming through.

The Club (Ticket Office) should have been “on the ball” like most other Clubs have been with Tickets, and stated that the Old Age Concession was changing in-line with State Pension changes, i.e.
26/27 Season remain at O65,
27/28 Season O66,
28/29 Season O67.

It'd be easier to just leave it as Over 65 imo, for the sake of the few people.

Reading that I'd be contacting them if they haven't and a bit before April 11th because if they can't get in touch then it says they will cancel them. Some may think they're getting away with it but it could well be they've missed the club contacting them.

Whilst the Club tries to ensure that pricing and ticketing information on the Club website is correct at all times, errors may occasionally occur. If the Club discovers an error in the price or nature of the Ticket you have ordered, the Club will inform you as soon as possible, and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price/specification or cancelling it. If the Club is unable to contact you, the Club will unfortunately have to treat the order as cancelled. If the order is cancelled, the Club will provide a full refund.

Agreed, I'll be checking emails regularly, but I'll set myself a deadline of 5pm Friday.....the 20th March. I'm away early April and wouldn't want it lingering. Hopefully they've worked out who they need to contact and I've never had an issue with emails from the club. But I just have little faith in the ticket office right now.

If anyone is in the same boat as myself & not showing the loyalty prices, I rang the ticket office today & they can see I've had season tkts with my boys starting in 2019, but no history of having a season ticket (2024/25) last season (which I did!! SEC)

I renewed in the NWU for the 2024/25 season but requested a move to the SEC. But for whatever reason, my history for last season is not showing!

I've had to find all emails from SAFC confirming my seat switch & confirmation of payments, screen shot them & send through the HELP ASK-SAFC. Madness that last seasons details are not showing at all.

Still none the wiser when the correct prices will be applied.
I’ll be in the same boat as this. I have zero faith in the club being able to apply common sense. I have no emails from previous years and don’t have the same accounts.

My loyalty points are my only hope 🤦‍♂️
