My son was 22 before August last season and tried to pay for an adult ticket as that would have been correct for him. He couldn't and ended up with a U22 ticket as that was all he was able to purchase online (he was in New Zealand so couldn't easily pop into the ticket office to sort it out).I've seen it as it's 14 BEFORE August 1st so he's be in U18 band
:edit: it's in the T&C's

Age Bands: Supporters on or before 1 August 2025 on presentation of proof of age at
time of purchase are subject to the following age bands: under 14s (13 and under),
under 18s (14-17), under 22s (18 – 21) adults (22-64) over 65s (65 and older).
Block U6This is another version of the prices that have been shared on here and what @Bossworld has seen elsewhere.
The 3 columns are for the 3 tiers of loyalty pricing. There's UBER for those with a ST on 2022/23 or before, 23-25 for those who got in the last few season but before June 2025 and NEW for those who got a new one after June 2025.

Owt in grey is just an estimate based on the increase of know prices for that tier but it may help give an idea if your renewal is within that number. If you've got a price for the grey one then hoy it up and say which tier you're in so it can be updated, ta.
If some are higher and paying the NEW price even though you renewed last season then it could be that you've moved. It may be that something has changed on your account also so maybe you know why and can share?
You would like to think moving seats wouldn't impact the loyalty pricing, but maybe it does if the system doesn't pick it up for whatever reason - seems like a massive flaw if so, but might explain why you're seeing different prices to a few of us in the same section of the ground.
Might be worth dropping them a message on AskSAFC mate

No, if they're 14 1st of August before season starts, they move up iircNot sure if I'm honest mate - I always thought there was a cut off date for the age categories but I cant find it anywhere which is confusing me a bit.
Ours sounds the same as yours, however, I always thought the age bracket tickets included the specified age - so essentially if he's still 14 when the season starts, he'd qualify for the u14 ticket. That could be my misinterpretation though.
I'd imagine your son would fall into the under 14 price as he will be 13 when the season starts. God knows mind, they don't make it easy to find out.Yeah I was looking for the same as my lad turns 14 in September.
Someone replied to me stating it was the age on Aug 1st this year that will count as their age bracket. That does ring a bell as something I've read before as well.
Also it ties in with the over 85 tickets they are offering as that clearly states age as of August 1st 2026
And being hassled by stewards for talking on the concourse. And having to sit, outside, at the Colliery tavern pre match.Yeah, anyone who witnessed Max Power's shot fly over the bar should have free season tickets for life![]()
Ta as that ties in with the new prices I'd hoyed up in post #1794 that is a 15% increase which is the same for red band Adult (rounded to nearest £5 for simplicity).Block U6
Over 65
£495 (£496.50) renewal price.
Was £430 last season.
Season ticket holder since stadium opened (never moved seats).
I sat on the steps in the Fulwell End at Roker Park on a freezing cold January with a out 8000 in attendance to watch Sunderland v Watford pass it around the centre circle in the most boring 1-0 in the history of football where the one and only shot on target was a very early goal from Martin Scott.Yeah, anyone who witnessed Max Power's shot fly over the bar, sorry....north stand roof, should have free season tickets for life![]()
Tried that aswell but still wouldn't work but got it sorted using the debit card payment planIt's the sort code that cause"s problems, needs six numbers no gaps .
I’ve noticed two other people on the thread mention they paid the same price, so looks like you can confirm that £495 over 65s UBER price in the red band is correct. Thank you for collating all this information together — you’re doing a cracking job, mate.Ta as that ties in with the new prices I'd hoyed up in post #1794 that is a 15% increase which is the same for red band Adult (rounded to nearest £5 for simplicity).
Unfortunately I blindly renewed and now I'm probably going to have an absolute mess on the get it out rightSent them a message on Ask SAFC last night asking why I was being charged such high price, and logged in now and they've been reduced in price. By £400 for the 4. If I hadn't been on here reading and just taken last nights price at face value. The club would have blocked £400 off me.

I think that is exactly what is happening, the gap is closing. It is really a transition period moving to where all tickets will be the same price no matter length of loyalty. The plan is probably based on the expectation of staying in the PL and once in there for 3/4 years all season ticket holders will be paying the same for each particular area in the ground. I do kinda understand that tbh.To me they've just closed the gap between 'ubers' and newbies.
My uber ticket has gone up circa 20% to £551.50, the wifes newbie has gone up circa 4.5% to £616.50.
The difference has gone from £130 to £65.
Not convinced my loyalty is getting me the win they tell me I'm getting.
