Season card - No Auto Renew

Got to be the unluckiest fan going mind. With the cut off 1st August it's going to be adult price this season, and now they've said next season the upper concession age is going up to 66, so you can miss the concession rate by 8 days and have to wait until 27/28 to get it
Don't buy a season ticket and just buy match by match at the seniors price??

Yeah but then you risk not being able to get your season card back later if demand continues, and certainly won't be in the same bit of the stadium where you might sit with friends and family, and could miss out on tickets for some games entirely. Don't think the club have done anything wrong, but it still feels a bit harsh!

Sure it was said on here that if they brought it in, it would weather have to to do a credit check. I know the mags do a monthly payment scheme, so other clubs must.
Yeah they've said that in meetings before. Not sure how it worked but it's something like by doing it this way, you've always paid for the games before attending, whereas if it's 12 months you'd effectively be getting credit, which made it a credit agreement. And they said they have loads of issues with missed payments and the likes and, if it was a credit agreement, people could get their credit score fucked by missing it. Must admit, I'm not sure how that works, if you start paying monthly in March you'd always have paid more than the value of the matches you've attended. Fuck knows, it was something like that though

I was kind of joking, and I agree with you because your points are all valid.

Thing is if you turn 22 on 2nd of August you get a whole year at the under 22 year old age bracket even though you are 22. Swings and roundabouts really.

It was always nonsense. The mags have had a payment plan over 10 or 12 (can't remember) months for years.

Just asked AI (I know) apparently it used to be the case that you could have an exemption to it being a regulated credit agreement if there's no more than 4 installments, so offering 10 or 12 would have made it a credit agreement. But in 2015 that was changed and you can get the exemption as long as it's 12 installments or less, as long as interest isn't charged. So sounds like we were operating on outdated information from that, if it's accurate

Looks like they're sticking with 6 monthly payments, for whatever reason.

"A range of payment options will continue to be available, including Direct Debit split across six monthly payments. "

yes but there also said this in the minutes after they said about the 6 payments

Seat Geek allows for additional transaction methods and a monthly payment plan option will be available.

Monthly payment plan could easily mean 6 monthly payments.

Need to just wait and see.
