Search a long thread for your first post in it?

Trying to find information about when a specific event occurred, and I can't find anything about it anywhere. But I believe I posted about it in a 400+ page thread on here.

The search function isn't helping me so far.

Any tips?
 


Have you used the advanced search?

That lets you narrow things down by keywords, who posted it, when they posted it, how many replies are in the thread and in which forum.

There isn't really a lot more you can search for beyond that.

Yeah, I have.
Basically trying to get a list of all of my posts on a single thread. Then I can find the earliest ones which should answer what I'm after.
Seems that's not possible, oh well
 
If you know which thread it is, click on search, select "this thread" and put PTR in the "By" box and that will list all of your posts on that thread.
