Scrapping afterwards

Entitlement. Expectation. Brings out the worst in fans. I’ve had two clashes in 300 home games. One was my fault, I was being a negative twat for 90 minutes under Beale and just didn’t shut up. My bad. Today, two blokes were hammering Mundle and “too many shit championship players” before their customary 80th minute exit and I lost it at them. Was something in the air today.
Same here, red mist came down for me as the part timers started streaming out when the third goal went in. Gave a few of them a piece of my mind and then decided to sit down when I noticed the stewards taking an interest. Should have kept my big mouth shut, dunno what came over me.

I was livid when he gave the penalty.

From another angle when I watched the highlights he is definitely pulling his shirt.

So, it’s a penalty.

However there should have been a penalty, for both sides, at every corner and free kick that when into the box.

There is no way on this earth that the officials cannot see the wrestling going on at every dead ball incident going into the box.

Unfortunately I’ve been dreading it since the good start. But. I know the vast majority in there are behind the team.

Did anyone else, on the Keel crossing afterwards, witness some fella assaulting another fan for daring to agree with the referee’s giving them a penalty? Awful stuff.

There’s some absolute whoppers amongst our fanbase.
Forget the offside for a second and it’s a definite penalty. Dunno what Brobbey was thinking.

.002% of the attendance and you think that we are no different. Have a word with yourself man.

Ok statto, so that’s the % who were getting on players backs yesterday, giving them abuse on line (calling someone shit is abusive by the way), and leaving after the third goal a whole 15 minutes before the end …. 0.002% ?
Not sure about that like, let’s get all the facts I think the bloke that sent that shit to mundle will end up being abroad for starters if his user name is anything to go by. A few people have a disagreement and someone gets punched I’ve seen that about 100 times at games and nights out it’s society ain’t it. People tend to blow things out of proportion on here one melt sends some horrible shit to a player we’ve got a racism problem, a wrongun punches another bloke after an argument our we’ve had a shameful day etc. I’m not making light of either but let’s get all the facts before we start going mental.

Give ower one of the reasons I moved my seat in the league one days was this fucker behind me in the southstand moaning like fuck. The level of football etc doesn’t purge anything. We’ve got whoppers every team in the world has whoppers guess what people get even more whoppery when their team loses a game. Or if you watch American sport they smash their city when they actually win a title. Strange bunch the yanks.

That’s a good reasoned post. People do get carried away on here as keyboard warriors under a pseudonym. Me included probably

I disagree. I think in L1 and Champ everyone is quite aligned on the goal and standards (promotion). In the PL you get some that view 36pts so far as a success and others who view the last two months a disappointment and vocalise it as such. Hence most moaning in Champ and L1 didn’t annoy me as much as it was most likely justified. However if you disagree feel free to punch me in the face on Keel Crossing after the Brighton game.

There were loads of melts near me in the south stand during league one days. The level of football doesn’t change that, goals maybe different but idiots are idiots regardless of level of football.

Society seems to have forgot that it’s ok to disagree.

You can disagree and debate and even argue over something like a referee decision and that’s fine. Even if it’s a passionate disagreement that’s ok.

But you have to accept ultimately the other person is entitled to their opinion. You are not entitled to force them to change it.

Comes across as proper inferiority complex when you can’t handle someone disagreeing

And then fighting ffs - pathetic.
This comes from people living in echo chambers and the government pushing the narrative of punishing people for disagreeing with the the narrative. Just look at the politics forum people combusting with anger when anyone doesn’t agree with their view

True. I just feel like atm there’s a mish mash of expectations

Nah. What a load of nonsense. Keel Square, 8pm, see who is right there and then!
