For anyone curious who OP is he seems to be one of our toxic yank clingers on.

Only ever posts about America... and now Pardew.
 
The OP must be taking the piss. You don't want the charlatan anywhere near your club. He benefited from the defence and organisation left behind by Pullis (spit), a reasonably solid midfield and had two very fast skilful wingers, the tactics wrote themselves and team spirit was the best I've seen. 2016 proved just how clueless he really is even with a £30m front man. He would have taken us down without a doubt.

He left us paper thin in key areas and we'll still struggle to stay up IMVHO. I've always had a small soft spot for SAFC and lurked on here for a while as always a good read. Your crippling injury list and owner would feck most mid-table clubs.

I can't wish you luck as that would be suicide, but if the worse happens I hope you bounce back soon.
 
To be fair to the bloke, if he had taken us to a europa league quarter final he would be a bit of a hero in Sunderland. Not that I would want him and I think he's a right twat but he's not as bad as the mags would have you believe. Fell apart quickly for him at Palace though it has to be said.
