Sam Fender

I'd normally have no problems going to a gig at Sid James, and would rip the piss out of any mag who wouldn't go to a gig at the SoL.

However, these aren't gigs, they are mag rallies! Will be absolutely stinking if the last ones were anything to go by...

Totally agree. Some neutral complaining about the sound at st james, with it being "unbalanced" and said it doesn't lend itself to gigs. The mags straight away shot her down, it could sound like one of those Fisher Price record players and they would defend it. Fender is an idiot if he doesn't realise he is alienating a lot of his potential audience. Just a mag rally as you say, most of them wont even know his music.

Any excuse

Does he do a cover version? :D

Generic guitar anthem plodding, with 'Wor Flags' and Steven Taylor on backing vocals.

If you like him it sounds like a venue somewhere else is the only option.
