Exactly. Said from the start, this whole grift relies on not being in a position where he has to actually prove this stuff. He's read the news this morning and is thinking this is perfect, tell everyone how legit my bid is so that in a few week's time he can piss and moan about how he was gazumped.

Magnus has said nothing more than "fingers crossed" earlier. Mind you,I would welcome "agreed in principle", particularly if I knew who it had been agreed in principle with! I'd see that as a major step forward.

I have no idea whether there is *something happening * or not, but doesn’t the moving on of personnel, the signing of sponsorship extensions and also player recruitment suggest that the current regime are going to be here for a while yet.
Surely logic dictates that if there was to be a change of ownership then the close season would have been a more likely time for it to have happened?
Yes I am aware there is currently a global pandemic and things aren’t exactly normal which could indeed have had a bearing on timescales etc.

Recruitment and sponsorship deals would still happen regardless of whether there is a takeover or not, a business still has to run as normal
