So is the current narrative that we shouldn’t believe people who say there’s a takeover because they can’t possibly have insider knowledge but should instead believe people who claim there is no takeover because that’s the only kind of insider knowledge it’s possible to be privy to? Ok, got it.

I could not put it better myself. People who claim its happening get pulled apart for "itk" shite etc yet people come on saying the same about it not happening and fuck all is said

I have no idea whether there is *something happening * or not, but doesn’t the moving on of personnel, the signing of sponsorship extensions and also player recruitment suggest that the current regime are going to be here for a while yet.
Surely logic dictates that if there was to be a change of ownership then the close season would have been a more likely time for it to have happened?
Yes I am aware there is currently a global pandemic and things aren’t exactly normal which could indeed have had a bearing on timescales etc.

Doesn’t indicate anything tbf m8, happens in all businesses they have to continue to function as normal, they can’t just stop signing supplier or sponsorship deals, and if staffing needs right sizing then it needs doing, the only difference will be that behind the scenes any potential new owners will have been consulted and given views / approvals to do what’s been done.
