We’ve just signed a lad that could be a good signing. All the signs are that this is actually a bit of a coup for a side in our league ....... but you crack on with your negativity mate. You keep taking every opportunity to have a snidey little dig at the club.
I think you are wrong. Check the username. I certainly do NOT take snidey digs. Thank you

Thank goodness he’s in. I can’t watch Flanagan bring the ball out the back for another year

Because, until December 31, he doesn't need one as he is a Swiss national.

So, theoretically, in two years his contract is up: his Swiss nationality won't make him eligible due to Brexit and he probably won't have played enough games for Kosovo.

Are we literally resigned to losing him for nowt in two years no matter how good he is?

Not sure if he has a Swiss passport, or if that was the case that his caps for Kosovo would even count toward his eligibility?

Just saw the other day someone saying its be hard for him to get a work permit post January, once his contract had expired.

If he can get apply for and get settled status by the end of the year, he'd be allowed to stay indefinitely.

If he's even half decent he'll get caps for Kosovo surely? Plus with him already being here he'd have a right to stay? Or a meringue?

But the government have already said that anyone from Europe working in the U.K. come January 1st will be eligible to stay. If he gets his paperwork in order when the new rules come in then we extend his contract we shouldn’t have any problems surely?
