I love the posters on here who think Donald is a) incompetence personified in a football owner; but also b) a pied pier PR genius that has fabricated something out of thin air to protect himself from flak about transfer dealings.

One is useless, the other uber-competent. Which is it?!
 
mini update if anyone’s still interested, not that it’s of particular use to people:

There are “multiple NDA’s”, but “no set timescales” and there is going to be “no running commentary” from the club. They’ll say something when there’s something to say.

Don’t care if you don’t believe me but I am sorry it’s not what people want to hear. At least it’s still ongoing

Useless, as his BS didn't fool people for long.
Though he has fooled some of the people all of the time.

Of course, it's a rhetorical question. He's worse than useless.

But that allows us to discount the idea he's so devious as to put Barnes up to this. He's way too dim and loose-lipped for a stunt like that.

Something is clearly happening imo, we just don't know what and it could well unravel as fraught and lengthy negations proceed. People's impatience says more about them than anything else.

I think they were the first to announce he pulled out of the international squad. Think Sunderland Echo (Johns follows them) talked to them after tweeting that then ran the story, so assume they might actually know something.

They do, pint bottles of carling, cans og guinness but people just want to whinge about the pints.
