The cap has more holes than a block of cheese man. Easy to get around imo. We should also be looking at the best under age players available to us. They'll grow with us too.

Bonuses relating to progression in cup competitions or promotion aren't included in the cap, for one. Also, nothing to stop you offering massive promotion pay increases.

For all i think its an easy assumption to make i can see why this is the reasoning behind getting the Monaco big wig involved, becomes a direct link with us becoming a feeder team for their youth players. They pay the wages we give them games and you'd like to think they were above this level.

It's safe to assume we will win at least one of the daft efl trophy games. If that tournament is outwith the cap you simply give everyone in the squad the required level of annual bonus to take the pay up to its "natural market rate" for winning one game.

are non-cash assets included? Presumably things like shares, OEICS, property funds etc aren't explicitly precluded.
We wouldnt need loopholes if the PFA stood up for all their members .
