The thing is people keep expecting Donald to try and fuck things up at the last minute and it's never been down to him that sales have fallen through, Campbell wasn't able to show proof of funds and FPP were split amongst themselves whether to buy the club or not, they were worried when they looked into the losses clubs makes in the championship and spend years not being promoted, likes of forest and derby have spent and lost fortunes treading water.

I know this isn't going to be a popular opinion and I would definitely agree that Stewart Donald has made some big mistakes but none of them were due to his own greed, he just wasn't wealthy enough on his own to do this, if he was coming on board now with this money behind him things might have been different but his relationship with the fans isn't repairable now.
 
Even if something developed in the next week, I assume that it would need another 4 weeks estimated on top of that to get approval from the EFL with all that fit and proper persons guff?
