wasting yer time pal, he wants everyone to know that nobody knows and until you get on board with nobody knowing he will keep repeating that nobody knows.
Wasting my time with you, just love a argument like a sad lonely keyboard warrior. Just because I have a opinion that differs from yours you don't like it like a spoilt child. Learn to read never said people never get any info just said people know exactly what is going on with the takeover, some saying it's off, some saying it's on plus rumours of different groups

Your exact post below mate. Leaving you to it.

“I think you will find my point is a fact nobody does know what is happening!”
Yes on the takeover!!! The whole thread is about the takeover. If you have read the countless pages it's on its off, it's this group and that group. Therefore nobody knows exactly what is going on!! They might be hearing info but nobody knows if it's correct or not till something happens

Yer having a mare pet, get back to your other stuff and leave the grown ups alone

Just had a quick look on Stat Cat.
Every home game V Blackpool in the '50's up to the short colour change under Brown in '57 had a gate in excess of 50,000.
The previous season to your suggestion 53/54 was bigger at 60,998.
Think you're right with 53/54. There are a few clues, September game hence length of shadow. clear sky, pitch in good nick at beginning of season, 61,000 gate which was biggest by far that season. Reason being, it was the year after the "Matthews final" and everybody wanted to see Stanley Matthews, me and my Dad included, couldn't get in the Roker and ended up in the Clock Stand just as they were kicking off.
