I know, it boils my piss when outsiders who don’t give a toss what our clubs mean to us. All they see is the £ signs and what they could make out of us. Trouble is, they have us by the short and curlies insomuch we support our relative clubs and not the regime, we stay away and it is the club that suffers if that makes sense?

Indeed Mate no winners for us Supporters.
The loyalty, cost and dedication goes unnoticed by some. This makes football from my side.

Whatever is going on, it is amazing that we are in this position. When we were previously playing at this level finding a director who had a spare £50 k to throw into the pot was a major thing. Here we are and people talking about billionaires in multiples.

What we have to realise is that, people who make that sort of money are generally very careful and do not like to lose money or throw money away. If we are going to be run by Venture Capitalists or investors of that type, they will want a return and they will want it in accordance with their plans. They will expect the people who are running the club to deliver profits on a return on investment basis, otherwise they will be out.

Football will be a commodity in their portfolios not some vanity project.

From all of the various rumours, it sounds like that is the type of options that may be available to us or more importantly to the current shareholders to allow them to sell or make an arrangement based on future success / returns.

Whether they are billionaires or not, I don’t expect massive spending or massive success but I would expectnothing less than getting back into the Premier League.

My head tells me that Donald knows this and he will struggle to give up that chance of future return and will fight to retain shares in a company somewhere within the company entities structure. If Sartori and co are at the table that will be his opportunity to do so.
So what? Football clubs run as businesses are usually the best run clubs (football clubs ARE businesses after all these days). The only reason Man City's of the world di better is because they have almist infinite spending power and these days FFP might put a bit of a cap on that. If someone gets a healthy profit flipping us that means their plans worked on and off the pitch.

Except its not the same everytime, and I think you will find my point is a fact nobody does know what is happening! It's sad people like you that need to find something else to do in your life, instead of trying to create arguments with strangers.

Some people do find out info though  I’ve received loads down the years from this board
