I really hoped after what someone shared on this thread a little over 24 hours ago it would be a wake up call to some that there are far more important things in life than bickering over people sharing information on a message board. I'm not saying the deal will definitely happen but to suggest the proposed scenario is unrealistic is daft. If you can't imagine it's quite possible that a few rich people in Dubai who would like to buy a big football club at it's lowest (cheapest) ebb would approach a former player of that club, who works in the media in their country, to act as a go between for a deal involving a country/region/club they might not understand 100% then that's your problem.

If there are a couple of billionaires we are theoretically better off than we have ever been backing wise, Short was a billionaire but he was just in the club and I seem to recall he was no longer in the club by the time he left us.

Gut feeling is neither of these bids will be successful. We need new owners desperately but right now because of the salary cap we so need Parkinson to step up to the plate. Not his biggest fan but I do think he’s capable of getting us up. How deep the pockets of our owners are will really only be relevant once we return to the championship IMO

July 18th Gray saying hes scratting around for interest. Jult 25th. Barnes posts that Donald has entered a period of exclusivity...

I'd love nothing more than to be wrong. If Michael Gray takes over my football club with three Dubai billionaires in tow I'll gladly hold my hands up, say I was wrong and never post on this forum again
