I disagree, my priority is Donald out, I don't think we, nor the EFL have the right to choose who buy's the thing as long as they can purchase the thing outright.

Purely on the basis that a Donald-run SAFC with Parkison as manager should be able to finish top ten in L1 with relative ease, I'd prefer to stick with him than led this lunatic anywhere near us.

Things can always get worse.

This deal if there is one wont get off the ground imo.Not even sure he isnt a SD plant,to deflect the fans attention away from important issues.Which is signing a GK and CF,as i dontthink we are anywhere near a takeover.

i reckon if he wasn’t and after tonight’s interview something would of leaked out or even some sort of shite statement from the club to basically say he isn’t in talks with us. The fact him and rodwell were in the same pub earlier and what rubberface is saying scares the shite out of me.
If he does get it, there should be extreme caution like I agree.

I think he may just have the backing

That's fair enough mate, Id roll the dice such is my disillusionment with Stewart Donald's management of this football club.

All about opinions an that.

The fact that we are sitting here, in full knowledge of everything he has said on the record, asking "if his bid is real" should give you more than enough warning. We shouldn't be anywhere f***ing near him, no matter the money behind him.
But he’d be a minority shareholder. Hypothetically, If it turned out (and this clearly isn’t the case) that his backers were FPP for example and he employed someone to the football side like Marwood, why would his past matter as a minority shareholder with 15% of the club?

Can’t be handing the club to financial locusts lads, hopefully the bearded lad saves us from that.
Donald borrowed money from the financial locusts’. It is why they are in our club. Donald was reaching out for investors.
Other than wanting to protect their investment, is there any evidence FPP are involved in the local / Sunderland fan version ?

If he's not contributing serious money to this deal and he's not the front-man/putative owner, what precisely is he f***ing doing? Why can't the serious money either a) find someone without an allegedly criminal past in major sport to cover that 15%; or b) match their serious money to someone who is actually a serious person.

You are pleading that checks and balances would be in place mitigate him - but clearly his backers don't think he is something that needs to be mitigated.

You've massively underestimated therefore, the danger.
