I think it's absolutely insane that he's agreed to name his source afterwards, agreed. It's basically saying that the NDA was broken by a person and putting them in a compromised position professionally.

I don't for a second think someone dropped him the % of the deal and risked f***ing up something with 2 billionaires involved.

But hey, I hope he's right on even 50% of it :D

I feel as if the only reason you say you will name your source is if you know it won’t happen.

This Magnus stuff is odd to me. I had a look on the other forum and he almost exclusively posts on takeover threads. One or two posts on the Garbutt thread and one on a Jon McLoughlin thread. 99% of his posts are on the takeover thread. So of all the talk of all things SAFC he's only interested in the takeover threads. I just find that odd. And why on there and not on here, which is by far the biggest SAFC site?
Are you being serious, have you seen the way the keyboard warriors act on here towards people passing on info.

i assume thats only if his “source” is part of the NDA. It might be someone not involved in any potential deal who is getting info and passing it on to others.

saying that i find it hard to believe anyone credible involved directly in the deal would risk saying anything, i certainly don’t think it’ll come from FPP end if any of them are involved.

I’m at the point that I’ll take any owner(s) who will ensure that the academy is properly funded and looked after from here on out. The best academy products developed should be,at a minimum, league 1 quality. With the salary cap in place we should have been looking to the academy to build the foundations of our next attempt to get back to the premier league. Instead the current ownership sold our best up and coming talent for peanuts.

Feel like there's a lot of imagined power being assumed of NDAs. Even with super-injunctions you can normally find out what was going on early off of twitter. Even if there's an NDA, that wouldn't necessarily mean every single person aware of talks had signed.

At the end of the day if it's revealed an admin or a PA or an advisor has been feeding dribs and drabs to an anon on a message board, provided that's revealed after a deal has gone through, once it's all in the press, is anyone involved really going to care? What millionaire/billionaire is scouring anon message boards to complain about non-harmful NDA breaches retrospectively?
