A start like that could be made for very little money and would be a big boost to club and the fans too. Open it as a sports bar when there is a match on tele (show your SC or membership to keep the riff-raff out {not you @riffraff mate}) and we have a moneyspinner that might persuade the club it is worth investing in bigger better facilities at the stadium and the whole thing becomes a virtuous circle. Vision. Ambition. You should check out what the new Spurs ground is like for the fans.
I wish I’d been told to keep out in 1969. My lifelong disposition would be a happier one.

If you watch the video from this morning with Dave Jones he explains in full where we are with transfers and the effect of the cap

Not shite

Look mate we already have two horrifically slow/shite strikers in Wyke and Grigg, what we need now is someone just as bad as them. Somebody like Danny Graham would be ideal, between the 3 of them we'd probably get something like 10 goals in a season. If we have a scouting and recruitment team they all deserve a massive bonus if they've managed to identify Graham as a target, real leftfield stuff, streets ahead as usual.

There are so many players out of contract if thats the best we can sign we have no vision what happened to PP target of pace and power
Maybe there won’t come to a third rate team
however we have to attract players like you say with pace and power
just how ????
What about the lad Jack Diamond who is approaching 21 now. Could he be used? Anybody watched much of him at Harrogate?
Not good enough from what I have seen of him

Think the grief he’s getting over there is a bit pathetic tbh, same as those who’ve had similar on here previously.

his hearts in the right place but he should know now to say nothing. Spreading rumours that something is happening is surely putting the deal in to the spotlight which is not what the moneymen want.

This thread has turned to transfer shite. I remember the good old days when you could log in to a takeover thread and get a Marie Rose sauce recipe whilst speculating about Ted Danson’s financial backers.

Little known fact Ted 'Disco' Danson invented disco dancing in New York 1974. He's also William Storey's financial backer.
