Excellent points. The bars at the stadium are horrendous. I have had to go to a couple of Newcastle games with work and they have number 9 and the terrace bars attached to the stadium, I was surprised by how quiet they were pre match but appreciate the proximety to the centre of town means they have a lot of options of bars to go into. If we built decent bars attached to the ground or even took over the empty car garage (old Audi) opposite the east stand and made a big bar, we potentially could make a fortune.
Its things like this and the moving of the club shop that makes our commercial department so poor. We have never got things like this right.
Has the club shop moved?

A start like that could be made for very little money and would be a big boost to club and the fans too. Open it as a sports bar when there is a match on tele (show your SC or membership to keep the riff-raff out {not you @riffraff mate}) and we have a moneyspinner that might persuade the club it is worth investing in bigger better facilities at the stadium and the whole thing becomes a virtuous circle. Vision. Ambition. You should check out what the new Spurs ground is like for the fans.
Cost a lot to buy and convert. I'd like to see the old scrap yard converted in to a drinking venue - also cost a fortune.

No but one of the things Donald put forward was to make Black cat house the club shop, there were plans raised but not sure if they ever went to planning. Another thing that never happened but it could be done quite easily.
While the stadium is great, there was very little forward planning done in terms of the fan experience but I appreciate when it was built things like that werent at the forefront and to build it so cheaply was amazing.

I’d been going to games at the SoL for 12 years before I found out where the club shop was (granted I live nearly 4hrs drive away and only attend a couple of times a season). If I wanted anything I’d usually send my uncle and he would bring it up next time he was visiting us.

Its location the opposite side of the stadium from the side most fans approach from wasn’t the best.

Don't know why people give revier so much stick he's only posting what he's been told and always has done. I don't think he's ever said that this is 100 percent happening. people get confused by what he's been told and his own personal opinions on the matter both separate things
If you don't like it just choose to get ignore it instead of getting angry about it.
To his credit, like him or loathe him he says it as he sees it without encouraging cliques imo. Personally I didn’t mind him although at times I have had my doubts about what he said, but I still think he is genuine enough
