As mentioned it depends what other offers he had at the time. Keen to leave, bid comes in from a group involving someone he doesn't like, he probably thinks he needs to proceed with it. If it then transpires that he might be able to get similar money from other sources, and isn't arsed about doing the best thing for the club, then he'd be in a position where he can play the arse.

Be very interesting to know the timescale of when this needs to be sorted before the group withdraw their offer. A positive is nothing has come out yet to say they still aint in the period of exclusivity and MG will be doing everything HE can to resolve it

the timescale is whenever they get pissed off with SD’s handling of it. If they’ve got the money to buy and run us, they certainly won’t care about walking away and looking elsewhere
