Pure speculation but summarising from what has been said / hinted at on here:

Two bidding groups. One Storey with as yet unknown blue chip backers. The second group possibly fronted by Micky Gray / Nicky Summerbee / Chris Makin. I guess that their backers could be the Kuwait lot which would tie in with Louise Taylor’s colleague’s comments and close to where those three ex-players now live / work (Dubai).

Hang on, where's Summerbee and Makin's names came from?

Not saying you're wrong, but seems to have passed me by.

If it comes to light he's favoring a worse deal for the club because it's better for him/it means he gets to stay on MG and Co should make that public.

I can't imagine the reaction from supporters would be very pleasant and might make him reconsider?

Clutching at straws I suppose but this has disaster written all over it.

People got no idea whether or not he is actually the preferred bidder and no idea who he'd have with him or what the makeup of the consortium would be but already have us down as going out of business. Yes the bloke is clearly a fruit loop and has some very dodgy skeletons in his closet. He might only be the front man for the consortium but only getting a minority stake. He might have some football people or ex-players lined up as part of his plan. Nobody knows. Whats the point in getting yourself worked up about hypotheticals?

The Donald situation has shown us that we shouldnt blindly get sucked in but at the same time there's no point in throwing our toys out of the pram and telling the fella to fuck off before he's even officially the owner.
As if Donald can afford a helicopter.
Arrived for every game by chopper when he was able to come

How do fans force out an owner that has failed dismally?

Do people really think this is true? he spat his own dummy out after being unable to steer his own ship. No point roaring about it, just sod off.

3 seasons in division 3 does not for green grass make, fools.

Have I missed the main reason everyone seems terrified of this bloke? Or is it just cos he's a bit of a head the ball? Not defending him like but I haven't seen a reason to think he shouldn't be taken seriously?

Just been on the Rich Energy site to see if you can actually buy one of their drinks, it doesn't look like you can ... The Wikipedia page says the company claims to manufacture the Rich Energy drink, Amazon has the product as currently unavailable with some minging reviews ... I hope the whole meeting thing with him is bollocks. Very sketchy, but if he gets his bid accepted the Fit and Proper persons test will find he has no money or proof of it and it would go no further. Could just be a massive waste of time and putting genuine bidders out in the cold.
