Sky currently showing Saj playing for England 5 years ago.

Just bowled a no-ball that went for six. Those were the days.

Injuries mean a recall for our hero and a not too shabby 1/20 to boot.

And batting at five (out for 1).

Possible replacement for Broad?

I only went to Glastonbury for a week, but as soon as I take my eyes off Saj he bursts through with a match 10fer v Notts.

Great stuff from our hero and surely only a co-incidence that his form was poor on the hard bouncy wickets of the early season but improved once the clouds and the green came.

Good to see that he's firmly got a grip of that 3rd seamer slot for one of the countries top County attacks.

Well, we all know what happend in the last match, after taking the vital wicket of nightwatchman Onions the other Lancs bowlers couldn't back him up. It's a shame that after Saj's crucial breakthrough the rest of the attack let the Championship slip by.

Onto the T20 last night, no wickets but his four overs went for less than 30, which is all you can ask of a strike bowler, really.

His 4 overs went for 35, 8 more than any other Lancs bowler, only Breese went for (1) more of ours. His first 3 overs were tight enough then he got smashed about by Liam Plunkett.

You've got to expect that a rapid, express-pace strike bowler such as Saj will go for a few, luckily the sheer volume of wickets make up for it.
