Sainsburys fulwell closing

So that explains the shrouded secrecy, I’d be fuming if I was one of the ex employees. Imagine it will be like the one at East Boldon. Handy for the olds that used it frequently.

Doesn't really surprise me tbf.

The old one was too big to go under the 'local' branding iirc, and must have been one of their smallest shops nationally that had to sell at main supermarket prices.

So now they get to lower expenses, and bump up the prices 10%.

Did he negotiate the lease with Sainsburys?
Not sure, all I can see is that he has been listening to his constituents, put pressure on local authority and maybe even had conversations with Sainsbury’s , god knows and I don’t care.
