If they leave the seats as they are, I guarantee there’ll be at least one person in there who wants to sit.

That's what will happen, a few won't be able to stand for a few hoursIf they leave the seats as they are, I guarantee there’ll be at least one person in there who wants to sit.
What a shock.Everybody’s moaning. Again.
Just looking at pictures on Google of other clubs safe standing section and no one has done it like this, it takes a good 6 to 8inches away from the row so even when your standing your legs are going to be pinned to your seat behind you while you rest on the bar upright.
Honestly this is cheap as fuck.

Everyone has someone like these where the rail is built into the seat.
That's what will happen, a few won't be able to stand for a few hours
Our seats look a hell of a lot comfier than those things. It's nowt like other safe standing areas and I'm not surprised they've gone for this cheap option.
This is the safe standing that is more common and what I expected them to install.

What are you on about? It's clearly finished they are bolted to the ground. Why is it pretty obvious? How do you know they are finished and there's not more things to install?
That's an assumption at best. You reckon they can just stick a bit of metal there and don't have to adhere to any safety standards?![]()

Yeah but loads have given up ST in that area so they'll be newbies that can't hack the long standingI was expecting the seats to be part of the rail but your link showing how the richest club in the world have done it is exactly the same as ours
Everyone already stands in these areas![]()
You're kidding aren't ya?Why are the metal bars required?
Cold metal tooOur seats look a hell of a lot comfier than those things.
It's totally different to ours, there's come out of the seats in frontI was expecting the seats to be part of the rail but your link showing how the richest club in the world have done it is exactly the same as ours
Everyone already stands in these areas![]()
Its not, our rail is bolted on the floor behind the seat whereas the mags appear to have bolted them against the step in line with the seats.I was expecting the seats to be part of the rail but your link showing how the richest club in the world have done it is exactly the same as ours
Everyone already stands in these areas![]()
How do you know it's finished? How do you know the seats will remain where they are? How do you know they aren't going to be moved like they are in other grounds? What are you on about? It's clearly finished they are bolted to the ground.
I haven't paid much attention to the safe standing goings on and debate cos I know nowt about how it's done, and currently it didn't effect where we sit.
But I did see that post last night and my immediate thought, from my untrained eye, was 'there's something doesn't seem right about that.'
Just seemed to me that if anyone wanted/needed to sit, they'd not be able to see!
But admittedly, Is that not the case if someone wanted to sit at any safe standing stadia?
BTW, did those people in impacted seats get choice to move this year (haven't been following this closely)
I see the club apologist is back for his 8 hour shift defending the club to the absolute max as per usual.
