TBH Sunderland had the upper hand, had it gone to extra time I think you would have gone on to win, thing with Charlton is they attack in numbers, they had 3 in the box in the last minute. the 3 that went up probably deserved it.
 

Team deserverd everything we got today. I counted 1 shot on target second half
As a club an fans an supporters well that's a different story we deserve so much more

The saddest thing for me was how predictable that all was, not the result. You just knew that once we got the luckiest goal you’ll get in a game in of that magnitude, we’d sit back and invite pressure, concede, then make some odd substitutions and lose the game.

I didn’t want to be saying this but Ross can go now, for me. If we start the season off with him and continue the way we have this season and sack him in November, we’ll have wasted six months in pre-season and the first few months.
 
Anyone that watched STID will remember a fortune in money and time being spent getting Williams back to full fitness and now here he is enjoying his promotion party at Charlton. Only Sunderland.

Lump aimless balls at him even and have someone chase them in case he drops the inevitable one. As a goalie I know how much he'll have been dreading that after a mistake. But we applied no pressure and he had the easiest game of his life when he should have been living each moment on the edge. We're f***ing cack.
