He took the club on when it was a basket case, haemorrhaging money and nobody else wanted it. Cleared out the parasites and shirkers and got it back on an even keel. As Mary Hinge said could any of us do that? Irrelevant how much the club cost to him personally.

ALS were selling the t shirt with a tagline of "following our takeover by Dell"..thats misrepresentation in anybodies book and if it does not go through they might be in hot water!

I have heard from a well known and much beloved sauce that its discussions about the development of the AOL thats holding up the deal .My sauce who is very sweet insists that its the council thats the problem as the americans plans are to big for the development of the AOL and the council dont think the nimby's around the AOL would allow such a big development without a fight, and the Dells want assurances that the council cannot give!
I have a good stock of my sauce in case anybody on here does not believe me and i will provide evidence via pm if requested .I i cannot however reveal my sauce's full name but Hotel Pappa might be saying to much!

Yea I heard DELL were moving their R & D campus to Cleadon and will use the empty Nissan facility for manufacturing....

Ready made excuse for SD when it goes tits up. Ffs is he trying to sell the club or the club and south tyneside aswell.
