I'm not sure I understand whats going on here.

For weeks now we have had threads about a takeover rumour that now appears may or may not happen and was never a given.
We have had people barred due to their contributions about this story, and
We seemingly have a new board - 606 - set up as an adversary to this board, due to a split that this issue has caused

Is this correct?

The not606 forum has been around for years. It's simply that the level of vitriol and derailment on the threads here has caused a lot of people to move there, or at least access both.

The other board has been in existence for a while. I think the forums need a historical book written about them highlighting star performers and those who let the side down.

Nah, a few have been banned and others access both sites to try to get any updated info.

It was a former member off here who started a thread about the other place being nice and it snowballed from there to keep non takeover news off the takeover thread. The mods on here are quite happy for the takeover thread to be derailed and even contributed to it, even I have now. The thread has turned into shit puns, argumentative children, bitch fighting and now sniping at another forum. Well done to all concerned

Do you think the thread on the other forum has only kept to update info and has not had any of the negatives that you mention above?
