What do you think the plan will be if and when the takeover is announced?

Obviously, they have got a lot of money but what do you think they intend to do with our club?

A new Man City where billions are invested in playing staff, managerial staff, youth and infrastructure?

A new Red Bull that realise to become exceptional on the pitch, you must first hire exceptional staff?

Aggressive investment to get us to the premier league and then hang on in there?

More of the same?

Chelsea model of buying loads of your players to sell on for a profit combined with a mid table prem club making stars and selling on for much greater sums. No massive investment.

To be serious. If anyone thinks 4 multi billionaires one of whom is the 20th richest man in the world are going to piss about watching f***ing Rochdale every year they need their heads checked

They will do as much as it takes to get to the Premiership cash cow asap imo

That would be ideal imo, watching future world stars play for us seems a long way away.

Seems to work for some Spanish teams. We’d maybe win a cup or two but can’t see them chucking a billion at us when we get back to the premier league just to try and win a season. Personally I’ve always wanted to see a strong, establish top 10 side under a self sustaining model.

It's difficult though Julio, to guarantee Premiership football, I imagine the wage bill would have to far outweigh 100% of our income and at that point, you can really milk the premiership money because its already spoken for.

I'll be interested to see Villa's financial state should they go do, think they were very fortunate to get Dean Smith in whose tactical set up worked wonders for 6 months.

With Dell being a passive investor rather than on the board it will more than likely make it much easier for us to get round FFP. And these lads will know exactly how to get round it

100%, id liken that to how the RB clubs are set up. Increase your assets being a primary objective with league positions etc being a by-product of successful recruitment and infrastructure.

Similar route to Man City including the expansion of the SoL to 70k plus. Glory supporters will start to move to the area and setup businesses in Sunderland to get as close to the action as they can.
