Didn't they delay the filing of the last set of accounts and they were criticised for it? Might be wrong.

Parachute payments???.........Nobody will care about these if the dell deal goes through!It vwill be interesting to see the movement of moneys though!

Probably absolutely nothing to do with SAFC. There were no disclosed trading relationships with any Bridle company in the last accounts. If there have been any since, they'll have to be disclosed in this year's. The only thing realistically is possibly they've had ads in the programmes.
Quite why they chose to change the year end retrospectively, rather than in advance (ie for this year end) is a bit strange. However, given that Donald's tame accountants have cocked up a couple of company secretarial filings for the club, like the original filing of the change in control when they bought the club having the wrong date, it's not impossible that this filing is wrong as well.
It could all be related to a restructuring following the sale of his insurance businesses - but that's total guesswork.
Why Charlie would have changed Dragon's year end is beyond me. The last time I looked, it was simply a dormant company to protect the trading name.

Would the owners have tasks to do when the filing is due? I know the accountants would do most of the work like but my only thought on why the two of them might have delayed is because it would take them some time and they're both tied up with other things that should be resolved within 3 months, like the takeover?

Because you get 3 months from the day you change the year end.

Could it be because they're about to hoy a load of revenue they're about to receive from the buyout into these companies?
I know nothing about company accounts, as you can evidently see.
