So why say anything then? Why lead people on?He’s not gonna say it’s a done deal before it’s announced man are people thick or something it’s not done until it’s announced
It’s just daft.

What's been said? It would have been easier if someone who had attended created a thread listing all the key discussions.
Yet Newcastle Utd use the ground as their address on Companies house?Ah gotcha.
The assumption I made was that because Newcastle don’t own their ground, that any company involved would be unable to register their company there.
Whereas we do own our ground, so the current owners/yanks can use our address.
That’s my limited understanding and I could be totally wrong.
The other buyers quote has been taken out of context. He mentioned the dell guys on a few occasions. To reiterate - the deal is not complete but should be within a week or two. I think we just need to wait - as someone else said Mr Donald sounded very positive that it will go through, even though he wasnt sure if and where himself and charlie boy would fit in the new set up. I have tried to get more info from a mate who was there but nothing else has come through - he is probably pissed by now.Aye, believe they are accurate quotes.
Right, couldn't give a fuck now. Tedious as shit now. Just want us to hammer mk DonsListen to people who were there = very positive
People on here who were not there = its off
Totally agree this commentExactly this, not that it'll convince the moaners not to have a moan...

Cant see them forming a financial group if it wasn't.Dont get me wrong, I've been excited by the thought of this particular group of buyers as much as anyone.
But even if it falls through, the fact that they were interested in first place is positive. There will be others, in fact SD has consistently mentioned others.
This whole circus may have even alerted some new higher profile parties as well.
But its probably going to go through ok anyway
As someone who was there and seems a sensible sort it would be appreciated if you could give a summary of all the important things that were said tonight if it isn’t too much trouble. No worries if not.
The more the Daily Mail run articles about the Mags and a takeover, the more they appear to be a diversion to what’s happening to us.You must be logged on to see external links
Fuck the mags
I doubt much would surprise many on here.
As I’ve already said he came across really well and is clearly passionate about what he is doing at the club.
Has belief Ross is the right man, he has frustrations as we all do ie performances not as fluid as we may want but after 9 games we are top 6 with a game in hand . Not afraid to make a difficult decision if it comes to that but he doesn’t feel at that stage yet.
MSD people at game gave impression that we were further ahead in discussions than was actually the case. Work ongoing maybe 1/2 weeks. Believes we the fans will be please with what he is pursuing and deal is about the club not him or others. Has asked to stay on as he feel she can add value but should any takeover happen that isn’t his decision.
Genuinely we’ve heard most of the rest of it re scouting set up, Maja, grigg.
Repeating myself here but although no quotes/facts about the takeover I came away feeling positive

Interesting.
Point still stands though. Regardless of where the company is registered, be it the SOL or Roker Baths, a company being created is not a cast iron guarantee anything is going to happen.
I imagine it’s done in preparation for potential deal (be it 5-95% likelihood).
Ah gotcha.
