My point is that just cause a company has been registered it means a takeover isn’t guaranteed to happen.

So cause the Sheikh registered a company and cause the Yanks have, to act as a vehicle involved in the purchase, there is no guarantee for anything to happen.

People only adamant it was happening based on the ITKs in this thread who have been found out spectacularly

That’s my frustration really.

People have been lead to believe something is imminent, being told of deals done over the weekend and that we’d all be happy.

Now that could be that something has happened recently which has scuppered the deal, but judging by SD tonight it doesn’t seem anywhere near being a done deal.

I bet he's pleased he isn't on this board any more ! The abuse would be shocking ! Really now seems things were hyped to ridiculous levels. I cannot believe he was on a windup but why he was convinced the deal was completely done and dusted I'm confused

As someone who was there and seems a sensible sort it would be appreciated if you could give a summary of all the important things that were said tonight if it isn’t too much trouble. No worries if not.

The information was obviously coming from the club like. Fuck knows why they didn't play everything down until it was all confirmed. Suppose it's the sort of shit you'd expect from a lower league club looking for investment, but I still thought we'd be above that.
