Am I missing something or did the interviewer refer to the fans telling him? Given that most are batshit crazy, the source is hardly a solid one for celebration.

Of course, it’s nothing to do with players or management, they can be asked but they will always toe the party line.

Don't want to get into semantics but he is saying that it will be announced one day then there will be a press conference the next day. To all intents and purposes you are saying exactly the same thing i.e. announcement one day then a press conference the next day.

He did but then Power referres to us as being the richest club in the World. I'm calling a full Daffy Duck bases on that.

:lol: That's not quite how I put it like, but to clarify...

After our last home game a senior person at the club (not Donald) was asked if he'd still be here for the next home game. He said he would be, but probably wouldn't be about after that. You can interpret that how you like.

My take is that should the deal go through as expected, i.e. in the window between the next two home games, then that person won't need to hang around for the Fleetwood (or possibly even Grimsby?) match. If they were still here by then, I'd be of the assumption that the deal has hit a snag.

For me, it gave an idea of when we can expect the deal to happen. I suppose it's plausible that it could even happen by Saturday, with the outgoing person hanging around for the handover. Who knows.

In short, I'd be quite worried if it's not completed by the time we face Fleetwood.
