And replace them with who? There's no one who hasn't been given a chance. He needs to fuck this defensive boring set up off or he's out of a job
This is what is staggeringly arrogant. Despite the fact he probably knows this will ultimately cost him his job he refuses to change any part of his negative approach to every game even at home ffs !!!

BSA as DOF and a young hungry coach who is into playing attacking football

It's been said to me this week Sam has severed his McKay links due to their involvement in some questionable stuff. Not sure if its legit. If this is the case this would be a good shout. He'd put some innovative stuff in place would Sam.

I think he has tried to change a bit but his public statements do show stubbornness. He fails to realise that -
1) attacking play excites the fans
2) one win and one defeat in the last two games would have been better than 2 draws.

Yeah. He will sever links now won't he. Good old Sam.

A settled starting 11 with players being used in their actual positions would probably be enough.
More witchcraft, just like the poster the other day who suggested using tactics and having a more expansive game plan than give it to mcgeady and hope for the best.

Playing players out of position and without any noticeable plan is obviously the way forward, other less forward thinking teams just haven't caught onto this managerial masterstroke

Getting rid of McKay is one thing. However what about Mark Curtis? He’s allardyces agent IIRC and he’s the one who Sam was pushing youth prospects towards when he was at West Ham.

Who was it that thought that was a sound game plan?

I genuinely think with a manager who knows his players and what formation and style suits them he could get this lot promoted. It's an awful league and the standard is really poor.
I'd take Gareth Ainsworth and quite happily shithouse our way out of it. We're so naive at times. It feels like the club needs a fire lighting under it.

Thanks for the explanation.

6 years would put us back in the middle of MB's tenure? No wonder it's taking time.....
No worries. I mean, it’s difficult to say from the outside but there are a hundred different things to think about on a deal.

Another (perhaps strong) possibility is that there is a timetable on the buy side that investment decisions have to fit into. By way of example - I used to work for a large international organisation which was itself ownerd by a larger organisation. My company couldn’t conclude any transaction involving shares without a specific set of approvals from various branches of the parent, and those branches had a fixed timetable, set out at the start of each calendar year, of a day or two per month when they would consider share transactions from my organisation. If we missed a submission date for one meeting, we simply had to wait for the next one the following month / six weeks later. (There was no jumping the queue). That lead to pauses in a transaction which were perplexing to some ‘on the ground’ (eg the sellers) but it was the only way a huge global organisation could function.

I know it’s been said that the possible new owners might be acting on their own account, but as serial investors (and no doubt busy fellas) it might also be that they have a timetable that they can work to and perhaps they simply don’t have the same impatience we all do for the deal to go through.

I’m encouraged by the fact that SD / the club haven’t come out and dismissed talk of imminent investment and I’m hopeful we’ll get the news we all want soon. KTF!

Yip all that hard work getting fans and club as one and the feel good factor has gone. It's stale and there is very little to suggest the manager has the answers to correct it.

Not one to name names but I wouldn't be surprised to see a certain lady who was quite high up in the club and possibly a balding man who replaced her In the firing line if there is further litigation
yer dont say...Although nothing has been reported about any specific individual at present, it does make one wonder just what has been discovered that had lain silent?

The McKays are horrible bastards and it all looks very murky. However, BSA has been friends and worked with them for years. I think it would be very naive to think that any of their behaviour would now come as a surprise to him.

So no one shares his opinion?

Must be a pure football crime, put the cuffs on

I've never said that Steve.

In my experience (what i've seen and been the recipient of) he's usually the first to sling an abusive comment and others, myself included, react to that.

I've never seen him consider another persons point of view. If it's different to his then it's just wrong.

As they say, you reap what you sow.
