it doesn't matter. Madrox owns 100% of Sunderland, and Donald owns 74% of Madrox. The shares in Sunderland are an asset of the club, and can be sold on the passing of a simple resolution by the shareholders. All that needs is a simple majority in terms of shares owned. If FPP are buying Madrox, it's even easier. If Donald agrees to sell more than 50% of the shares in Madrox to them, that's it. They have control.

Given how relatively simple the transaction you’ve outlined appears to be, what would be holding things up from that perspective?

You said FPP appeared to be the new holding company - does that suggest they’re buying Madrox or “Sunderland A.F.C. Ltd”?

because there are real buyers in town - Mike Ashley ahs a shot load of costs to get NUFC set up to our standard. Still, we are the bargain club at the moment so nowt to see here I suspect. Peter Beardsley has cost NUFC with the inevitable court cases, not to mention the complete lack of youth players coming off the production line for some reason.
Also the ongoing investigation by hmrc
