Sorry but which is it?

We are going to be massively invested in but they are umming and ahhhing about a few contractual obligations?

Let's not forget Moyes resigned with no compensation and the majority of his signings moved on.

Not disputing who Reivers mates with but I'm questioning if they are really that in the loop.
@Grumpy Old Man can sing clearly in the choir as he doesn't sing with forked tongue - hopefully.

No. They wanted to have all the corrective actions in place before announcing completion, so they could concentrate on the plans going forward when announcing. No-one said Moyes himself was involved. It was merely to put an historic timescale on things. They aren't umming and aahing about buying. It's about how much of the Augean stables are cleared before they say anything publically.

I know Deloitte were in and around the club both before and during the due diligence process. The Americans were in touch with them daily for updates on the finances.

They were the due diligence accountants, and appear to have done a far more thorough job than whoever Donald got to do it for him. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a couple of Deloitte consultants in the club's offices as we speak.

Fair enough if you choose to believe that but I don't.

Bolton had a lot more complexity than we did and were taken over quite quickly. I won't derail the thread but I need something official now I don't believe anyone in this thread knows anything

getting embarrassing now. ben brown is an art dealer who Fuhrman has bought art off in the past. this is like me going for lunch with my barber who once cut Donald trumps hair and expecting to find out the truth about area 51.

didn't reiver say he wasn't interested in attention?

Brown and Fuhrman are close friends. That's the way the ultra-rich work. Personal and business relationships very much overlap.

You must be the last living human that believes it marra..
I think it was dressed up as a consultancy fee for finding our new manager though I’d be happy to be corrected. If it was then it’d look as if he hadn’t been sacked.....again, ES looked as if the one manager he’d always wanted wasn’t a complete charlatan, safc looked as if they’d had to sack one less manager etc. Everyone’s happyish.
Inc everyones accountants as I’d imagine a consultancy fee would be taxed on a self employed basis and not PAYE. Thus saving both SAFC and Moyes money. I’m happy to be corrected if I’m wrong. In fact I’d love to be corrected as there’d then be more money in the govts pot for hospitals, schools, libraries, fire engines etc etc etc.

honest question that bugging me

if the three men of the consortia have had the companies house filing completed and are now named as directors; surely that means that a transaction has taken place to buyout some or (all) of Donald/Methvan/ Sartoris stake(s)
hence... what is the delay in your (or others) opinion?

That was a distress sale of assets; it wasn't complex at all. Anything historic or complicated wasn't a consideration, as that all gets left for the administrator to tidy up as part of the liquidation of the original company. The new owners basically bought the stadium, player contracts and league membership from the administrator.
