I might be wrong but didn't SD throw a shed load of money (it was for that league)at Eastleigh without achieving anything in real football terms other than raising the profile of Eastleigh.
if that is the case he has no more football acumen than the average fan on the terraces and sanctioning the transfer dealings with SAFC that have happened during his tenure haven't been noted for their quality
I would imagine the new owners would want much more football expertise than what SD'S record shows that he has .

I agree. Failed the primary aim at Eastleigh despite throwing money at it and I think a succession of coaches/managers. He did however boost the club in many ways off the pitch.

Here, hes done an excellent job saving this ship from sinking and boosting the club in many ways off the pitch but in football terms it's looking the same again. Failure to meet the primary aim.

SD has employed Hill, Coton, Ross and the lad at the Academy and if I'm honest I have doubts over all of them.

Getting bored of all of this now. Can't help but think it's causing disruption to us too.

You're spot on there mate, I said so numerous times back in July and August. Its a fact that almost every small business that goes through a transaction like this will have its operations disrupted. There is a very small team of people running the club, typically no small business has a dedicated M&A team so everybody in operations ends up getting dragged into it. Donald and Methven will have been very heavily consumed with this deal and any other previously aborted sales for months on end now. Impossible to do that and give 100% focus to the day job.
