This is Reiver's final contribution to this, and possibly any other, thread.

Reiver has asked me to thank all the decent people who appreciate the information and post this message.

"Now that there's a 'conclusion' it's a good time to stop posting. The other information about the 'kick in the teeth', new owners' plans, the future of Ross and the replacements being considered will come out in time without my contribution. It's a shame that some posters can be vindictive and bitter without any good reason. The only common denominator seems to be a less than enthusiastic outlook on Sunderland. We have a bright future to look forward to and it's time for everyone to draw a line on the past. Haway the lads!"

For what it's worth, I can't disagree with a word of that. In the course of this and other threads, I've had my honesty, integrity and professional competence questioned. Like Reiver, I'm questioning the point of sharing anything at all because of the grief that comes with it.

? His page is private. He no longer shows on Sunderland’s list of followers.

I followed him before he went private and can see that he's still following Sunderland.

It would be a shame if he stopped posting, similarly with you sharing info or your opinions. Some of us are grateful for it

Some on here will be negative and criticise just for the sake of it imo, some of them only appear when there is something to moan about. Pretty pathetic tbh.

I have heard from somebody close to a member of the coaching staff that they believe Michael Dell is obtaining an 11% stake in the club. ‘FPP Sunderland’ - consisting of Fuhrman, Platek, and Phellan is said to have a controlling share in the club of ‘over 75%’- as seen on yesterday’s developments on companies house. Realise this is my first post and so my credibility and reliability will be questioned, but that’s all I’ve heard with regards to the takeover.
Reiver😁 wlcome back🍷🍷
