None of that is visible in that FPP Sunderland Limited has only just been registered. Companies are usually formed like this to acquire the shares in the target acquisition company, be it a percentage or in whole. It could be a holding company, all will be apparent in due course. No amount of speculation will give a final position, just yet. The interesting thing is that it is registered at the club address, which suggests the rest is imminent and will follow in due course. SD and CM are not directors of this listed company but that doesn't mean that they can't be or won't be, it very much depends on the structure adopted. Interesting that there is a registration tying it back to the USA and specifically Delaware.

Delaware is a tax haven, no?

its says "75% or more" doesn't it? Not strictly 75%

As @Heaton_mackem pointed out, there’s one share in the Ltd co, owned by the American LLC.

The shares in SAFC will be divvied up in a company further down the chain no doubt.

75% or more can mean 100%, it seems CH doesn't specify if it's 100%. Just looked up the company I work for an it's the same 75% or more, despite definitely having only one controlling party.
