I was wracking me brain, so thank youThe big Czech striker? Koller?
And, arguably more importantly, why? From who?
Apparently not. It’s personal wealth, not on behalf of a fund. The guys taking the club over are investing money in the club on behalf of their clients one of which happens to be Dell. They will want a return on their spend. So I think this will not be a vanity project like City or Chelsea but rather a money making project as they are buying a distressed asset with upside potential and once that potential is realised they will sell. They may even sell us as a championship club
That was them being lazy gullible twats, rather than anything more malicious like creating logins and pushing bogus info. Two totally different scenarios.you obviously were not around when certain posters put that theory to the test...they started a rumour on here about the club being after a player and within days it was being reported by every major sports source as gospel, may be wrong but seem to recall sky sports news reporting it...the names escape me now but i am sure those with better memories could fill in the blanks.
my "blob drawer" was the barbers at the end of the street, that famous finale "anything for the weekend sir"Well you've gone and left yourself open with that post ....![]()
They definitely seem to be repeating whats on here.
A few years ago when i did a tour of New York there was quite a bit on Carnegie. He certainly was a philanthropist and its good to see there are a few still around.Philanthropists with that amount of money do it. Bill gates / Andrew Carnegie etc.
It’s what Newcastle fans are clinging to GOM. They are just using the club to make money and will dump and run as soon as a de ent profit is turned. Mags really do want to believe this..They aren't. They're investing a personal capacity. They are partners in a newly-formed US LLC (FPP Sunderland Llc), which in turn owns 100% of the new UK company FPP Sunderland Ltd. which will acquire the agrees proportion of the shares in Sunderland Ltd. They're not going via MSD Capital or MSD Partners precisely because they aren't looking for a quick return. Indications are that they want to around at least ten years, and will look to help regenerate the city as well as the club. This is a legacy project, not a money-making venture. Another subs bench spouting bullshit. I wonder who and why?
Exactly and they can choose what to do with it...they are not answerable to anyone but themselves.Apparently not. It’s personal wealth, not on behalf of a fund.
Thought you were gana say you were chartering a flight to his cloudA few years ago when i did a tour of New York there was quite a bit on Carnegie. He certainly was a philanthropist and its good to see there are a few still around.
When I win the £160m tonight. I will 1. meet with the Dell lads and pay to complete the SOL extension to 65,000 and then pay for disadvantaged kids to come to games for nowt then 2. meet with Sir Bob and make a healthy donation to the Foundation of Light. I will still have plenty left!
Firstly, fuck off, again. To be fair, internationally succesful businessmen investing a fortune into a community halfway round the world and a club for no financial return makes no sense, so it's understandable people will question it.
Ultimately, nobody knows their actual plans for the club, apart from them.
Can you remember him? I cant.Never heard him referred to as Lo either
My latest update is they had a meeting earlier in the week but it’s still not been completed.
Vaguely mate, didn’t Durban have him at Stoke as well? Might be wrongCan you remember him? I cant.
